When I asked Hadley and Luke how they met, Luke said simply, "Friend introduced us. Nothing special." Nothing special?!?! Every love story is special! So I went to the real source- Hadley. Us girls are always better at remembering the specifics.
Four years ago, Hadley was at a party. Armed with her girlfriends and ready to have fun, she had no idea it was the night that would change her life. Across the room, she locked eyes with Luke. She felt sparks. It was love at first sight. Maybe it was his freckles, his red tinted goatee or dimpled smile. Whatever it was, she knew she would never be the same. They chatted a bit and had a good time. As the evening progressed, Hadley found her self searching the room simply to see if Luke was there or not. And when he was, her heart skipped a beat. When he wasn't, it fell. When it was time for them to leave for the evening, Hadley was saddened to think that she might not see Luke again. Little did she know, her friend had put Hadley's phone number in Luke's phone. Luke called. The rest is history!
When I first met Hadley and her mom to talk about my wedding packages, I knew they would be a great fit with Hopefeathers Photography. When I asked how Hadley's mom felt about her baby girl planning her wedding and getting married, her response was, "It's about time!" I guess for a couple years now, the whole family has known that Luke and Hadley have a love that can stand the test of time. I am so excited to shoot their wedding in October. I also LOVE their date: 10.1.10. I'm a sucker for fun wedding dates. Here are some more photos from their lovebird engagement session:
These next two images are my first attempt at composite shots. I basically took two pictures of them, each a little different and put the images together to create these composites. Can you spot the difference?
