Orboot Globe

I have traveled the world a bit. And it only has given me more wanderlust. As a Spanish major in college (which, unfortunately, I rarely use now), I always knew I wanted to the girls to have a broad worldview. So when the opportunity arose for them to attend a German Immersion school, we accepted wholeheartedly. Because it's not about learning a specific language, but learning about cultures throughout the world!

Vivi is obsessed with learning about other countries. Maybe it's from watching the Olympics. Maybe it's from her school. Either way, you better believe I'm going to encourage her love of learning.

Enter the Orboot Globe by Play Shifu... or what the girls call, "the Globe Game". Basically, the girls use an app to access the globe which in turn teaches them about animals, monuments, inventions, cultures, and maps of various regions. It's amazing! I have even found myself playing around on it long after they have gone to bed. It's simply fascinating! My hope is that this will encourage life long learning, but also foster a love for other people all around the world!

You can find the globe here.

The Orboot Globe was gifted to us, but all thoughts and opinions are our own. It really is a wonderful learning tool!

bObi sweep

We have had our bObsweep bObi Pet robot vacuum for about a month and words cannot describe what a game changer he is! Upon opening, the girls named him Lloyd the droid because they simply couldn't believe they had their very own robot just like in Star Wars. I figured they would get bored of him when the novelty ran out. But they are still just as obsessed as I am! They even like the play dress up with him. My favorite part is that my house gets clean while I sit and drink a cup of coffee and watch. Gosh that's a good feeling! And Lloyd the droid even puts himself away neatly in his dock when he's done. I wish all our other "toys" would pick up after themselves!

Lloyd the Droid, our bObi Pet was a gift but all thoughts and opinions are our own. We truly love him!

Lolleez

Is any one else sick of the cold? Of the kiddos having colds? I know we are all ready for the sunshine and warmth and health of spring! Goodness knows, in Minnesota, spring is still ages away. Especially after these back to back snowstorms we are currently experiencing.

In addition to back to back snow storms, we have battled back to back colds all winter. Now that we have a kid in elementary school, she brings home ALL THE GERMS! I love you Vivi, but don't touch me until you wash your hands haha. With all the cold germs, come scratchy and sore throats. I don't feel comfortable giving the girls cough drops because they are so young. So when we heard of Lolleez organic throat soothing pops, we had to try them! And lets just say, we are hooked! The girls feel like they are getting a treat, because, hello it's a sucker! But I feel good because they are made of USDA certified organic like natural fruit pectin and organic honey. They are gluten free, dairy free and nut free. And they come in three delicious flavors: watermelon, strawberry, and orange mango. So the girls feel better asap! Vivi actually said she can't wait to get sick again so she can have a "cough sucker"!
