Owen & Chase- duckling session

What are little boys, made of? Frogs and snails, and puppy dog tails. That's what little boys, are made of.

These little guys are so sweet and adorable. The second I walked into their home, they greeted my with impish grins and were eager to show me all their toys, balls and trains. We had a blast walking around their neighborhood and let them run the show. Let's just say that Susie, their mom, has her hands full with these guys. I was getting quite the workout chasing them around with my camera! But from my limited interaction with them for the session, I know that she thinks they're more than worth it. Enjoy some photos from the ducking session of Owen and Chase. Believe it or not, they aren't even identical!
Adorable little toes!

We had a moment of shyness in the middle of the session that required a little snuggle with their blankets, but we were soon back to smiles!

This is what a lot of the session was like... chasing after the boys who were so excited to be out and about! I loved the patter of their little bare feet against the cement sidewalk.

Peek-a-boo!

When we were looking for bugs, we had the fortune of finding two worms! One for each of the boys. They LOVED their worms!

Chase giggled so hard when he would let the worm crawl on his arm.

Last stop was in a corn field. They had fun playing peek-a-boo in the branches. I got a little worried that we might lose them in the tall stalks, but they were so good!

It's exhausting being the model, isn't it Owen.

Even though this one was mostly by accident, I love that it's of Susie and the boys. I also LOVE that it's blurry and faded. It's kinda like a memory or a dream.

Jessica & Keith- Turtledoves

Why do I call my wedding photography Turtledove sessions? There’s a strong symbolic link between Turtle Doves and lovers. Because mated pairs stay together over many years, and possibly for life, the birds have long been associated with love and faithfulness

Meet Jessica and Keith. I had the privilege of photographing this Turtledove couple at their Friday afternoon wedding last week. It was a lovely day for an outdoor wedding. Once again the skies threatened to rain, but held off just long enough for the celebration. They say it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day! The ceremony was in Longfellow Gardens at Minnehaha Park that was so gorgeously arranged with the most lovely and colorful summer perennial flowers!
While walking past some flowers on our way to take Bride and Groom photos, I said, "Oooo a butterfly!" and whipped out my camera. We all had a good laugh at my knee jerk reaction.

Cutest little Ring Bearer!

Their cute little dog, Eloise, was the flower girl.
