I have known Sarah since she was a little girl. Her older sister and I were in the same grade growing up. Her dad used to fix my car when it was broken. So needless to say, when she emailed me that she was engaged and looking for a wedding photographer, I pictured Jr. High Sarah with a smile full of braces. When we met again after several years, I was floored by what a beautiful woman she has become! Not only is she gorgeous, but she has fallen in love with a stud! I thoroughly enjoyed watching the two of them interact during the lovebirds session. Torry was so sweet, gentle and romantic with her. Sarah was of course the girl I remembered with the adorable giggle and the mile long legs. I am so glad that they found each other and I hope that they teach their kids how to play basketball!

Dave & Allison- lovebirds session
Dave and Allison met at their church. After their initial meeting, Allison chatting with her friends about how he seemed to be flirting with her "with his eyebrows"! It seems that Dave has quite the expressive face and his eyebrows gave away his interest in Allison. You could say it was love from first eyebrow twitch! This lovebirds session was really fun because I haven't seen Allison since we waitressed together and I was dying to meet this fellow who stole her heart. We had a lot of fun walking around Minneapolis. The session began at Corner Coffee where both Dave and Allison have worked. We even got the perks of taking photos in the safe of the café and we also went on the roof. There is less than a month until their wedding!
Rubi Mae- Sneak Peek
Bluejay and I have known Dave and Kasi for years. We both got married the same summer. We were in each others weddings. So, when they told us that they were expecting a little one this July, we were overjoyed for them! In fact, on the 4th of July we had some couples over for a BBQ and Kasi's water broke! Rubi Mae was born on July 6th, so she was six days old today when we went over to photograph her. It might be totally weird to say, but she was so sweet and adorable and had that lovely new baby smell, that she made my uterus feel lonely :( Maybe someday I'll have my own sweet little girl. And by someday, I mean I think I'm still determined to wait a bit longer... I think. Introducing a sneak peek of Rubi Mae!!!
Proud parents and grandparents of Rubi Mae.
