Arizona

Bluejay and I are in Arizona over this memorial day weekend. We are staying with his Aunt and Uncle and have been having a blast! I spent most of my elementary school years in Scottsdale, so I have also been walking down memory lane since we've been here. Yesterday, we saw my old house and school. So fun! I love the TOTALLY different landscape that's here as well. I grew up drawing cacti and mountains and coyote howling at the moon, so they have a special place in my heart. Here's a bit of what we've been seeing and doing.

This is Anna, Bluejay's cousin. She is such a doll! She's also been my little buddy this week!

She's been following me around with her little polly pocket pretend camera taking pictures and showing me how cute they are on the pretend LCD screen. Really cute!

Ethan and Anna (Bluejay's cousins) were playing with the hose. Az is HOT! And it was so cute, I couldn't help but take some photos.

Abraham & Lindsey

That May afternoon was perfect. Lindsey was beautiful. Abraham was handsome. The sky was blue. The birds were singing. It was their perfect wedding day! 

She loves him! You can see it in her eyes!

I love the detail of their initials that Lindsey put on the bottom of her shoes!

We ran into a fun brightly colored hot dog stand near the lake. I thought it would be a cute photo-op. Bluejay asked the vender if the Bride & Groom could get some shots with a hot dog and the cute stand. He was more than willing. But I doubt anyone was as excited as Abe was when I told him to take a bite!

 

Abe and Lindsey, it was so fun to be apart of your BIG DAY! I have loved the adventure from getting reacquainted to engagement photos to your wedding day. It has been a blast! Now hurry up and have a baby so we can do more photos! Love ya!

Dylan & Cassie

Bluejay and I have known Dylan for years. We all spent a summer together in Myrtle Beach and he and Bluejay spent a summer in India together as well. Dylan has a fun and sarcastic sense of humor and wit. When I discovered that he was dating Cassie, it just seemed so perfect! She is so sweet and adorable and she naturally suits him so well. This lovebirds session was one of my favorites. Bluejay and I thoroughly enjoyed being the "third wheel" as we followed them around Minneapolis with cameras. They are so in love, I swear they hardly noticed we were there at all! With chemistry like that, I am so sad that I won't be available to shoot their wedding in August! Dylan and Cassie, it was so much fun to spend the evening with you both. Bluejay and I can't wait to work with you more this next year!
