Stacey

My sister is GORGEOUS! I met up with her for 30 mins at her house in Dinkeytown yesterday on my way home. It was a lovely sunny day. Her class didn't start for half an hour. There were fall leaves all over the ground. We decided it was a PERFECT day for a mini photo shoot since I had my camera with me. When do I not have my camera?!?! You never know when an opportunity arrises. It's like an umbrella- you have one with you just in case you have to... or in the case of these pics... WANT to use it! It's every photographer's dream to have beautiful client's and its even nicer when they are your sister! We had so much fun. Enjoy!

See what I mean? She's a doll! I still have no idea why she's single?

3 years ago, Mindy Pitman went off the dating market for good. Three years ago today, after swing dancing for hours, Bluejay asked me if I would be his girlfriend. I was ecstatic! I had a major crush on him and was having SO much fun getting to know him. Little did I know how deeply I would come to love and respect him. He is my favorite.

I love you so much Bluejay!

Here are some pics from that night 3 years ago when we were swing dancing. The next night we went on our first date as boyfriend and girlfriend. We went Salsa dancing at Loring Pasta Bar in Minneapolis. This is where I realized weeks earlier that I had a crush on him. We look like babies in these pics!

Swing dancing- a couple hours before we started "dating".

Our first date and our first "couple pic"

Nataley

A few weeks ago, I look some portraits of a lovely little girl named Nataley. Her mother, Steph, and I have been friends since High School. I did a session for Nataley this summer and Steph wanted to get some more photos with the autumn colors. There were a couple big differences that occurred in Nataley's life between the photo shoots... she turned one and learned to walk!!! This made the shoot really fun and ACTIVE! Let me tell you, you give a toddler a balloon and be prepared for some fast paced fun. She was so sweet as she tried to keep up with the balloon that she herself was pulling. Super cute. Nataley's dad, Dan, purchased the cute balloon special for Nataley's photo shoot. The balloon was tired to either her hand or her pants the whole time until the last ten mins. when her little hand let go of the balloon and we all watched it float up, up, and away! Surprisingly, there were no tears. What a good little girl. Here are some of the adorable pictures.

This last one is my favorite! Headed off down the path armed with her pink polkadot balloon.
