Bri & Alex- Lovebirds engagement session

Bri was referred to me by my photographer friend, Keely, earlier this spring. When we met for coffee, I knew that she and Alex are a really fun couple. They are high school sweethearts! They grew up in the same small town just miles away from each other. As we walked around the park for the lovebirds session, I could just tell that they have been best friends for years! They finished each others sentences, laughed at inside jokes, and teased each other mercilessly. It was too cute. It was a perfect evening (albeit super hot and humid!) for taking photos. I LOVED the park we chose and was ecstatic to find a field of yellow wild flowers on the grounds! Enjoy some of these adorable photos. I'm so looking forward to their wedding in August!

Dylan & Cassie

Bluejay and I have known Dylan for years. We all spent a summer together in Myrtle Beach and he and Bluejay spent a summer in India together as well. Dylan has a fun and sarcastic sense of humor and wit. When I discovered that he was dating Cassie, it just seemed so perfect! She is so sweet and adorable and she naturally suits him so well. This lovebirds session was one of my favorites. Bluejay and I thoroughly enjoyed being the "third wheel" as we followed them around Minneapolis with cameras. They are so in love, I swear they hardly noticed we were there at all! With chemistry like that, I am so sad that I won't be available to shoot their wedding in August! Dylan and Cassie, it was so much fun to spend the evening with you both. Bluejay and I can't wait to work with you more this next year!
